Sustainability

At GrassMar, our commitment to sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We recognize that in order to make a positive impact on the environment and our communities, we must ensure that our products and practices are not only eco-friendly but also support local economies and those around us. Here's how our Targeted Frass contributes to a greener, more sustainable future:

  • Home Compostable Packaging: We use 100% home compostable packaging for our products. This means that after you've used our product, you can simply add the packaging to your home compost bin or pile, reducing waste and promoting a closed-loop system. Our packaging materials are primarily made from recycled products and are sourced from companies that actually make products in the USA.
  • Local Sourcing and Supporting Local Economies: Whenever possible, we source our materials and packaging locally to support the local economy and minimize the environmental impact of transportation. By choosing suppliers in close proximity, we reduce our carbon footprint and strengthen community ties.
  • Natural and Eco-Friendly Products: All our products are natural and designed to work in harmony with the environment. For our Targeted Frass, we carefully select the feed for our mealworms, considering both the environmental impact and the benefits it brings to our Targeted Frass. For example, we use agricultural byproducts that might otherwise be discarded and pulse crops, which are known for their positive effects on soil health.
  • Thoughtful and Responsible Practices: We understand that our efforts alone will not save the planet. However, we are dedicated to making a positive impact whenever we can. Through continuous research, innovation, and thoughtful practices, we strive to minimize our environmental footprint and contribute to a more sustainable world.

Our mission at GrassMar is to provide effective and sustainable plant growth solutions. By choosing our products, you're not only nurturing your plants but also contributing to a more sustainable future. Together, let's grow healthy plants more sustainably.
